Past Media Coverage of West Tennessee Legal Services, Inc.VOCA Client in the News"'Prayer is the key' for Survivor" was the title of a Jackson Sun Article, about Veronica Bills-Walker. Ms. Bills-Walker is a client of West Tennessee Legal Services', Victim Assistance and Advocacy Project. The Victim Assistance and Advocacy Project is funded by the Tennessee Office of Criminal Justice Programs. The Project provides free comprehensive services to victims of violent crimes. The goal of the project is to preserve and assert the rights of victims in a professional and appropriate manner. Additionally, the project is able to help victims obtain Tennessee Criminal Injuries Compensation benefits. Because our resources and staff are limited, the project has some volunteer opportunities for specific activities.
