Homelessness Prevention Project

SERVICES OFFERED: Emergency Shelter Grant is funded through the state of Tennessee and the city of Jackson. WTLS will provide both essential and prevention services to the targeted population with special outreach to person that lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence. WTLS provides essential and prevention services, which include representation in obtain federal, state and local assistance, veterans benefits, income support assistance, and legal advocacy to assist clients in permanent housing. In the case of domestic violence, if the person is in a shelter we will assist with an Order of Protection and if necessary, a divorce.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Homeless

INCOME/ASSET GUIDELINES: None

SERVICE AREA:  17 Counties in West Tennessee: Benton, Carroll, Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer, Gibson, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Henry, Lake, Madison, McNairy, Obion, and Weakley
