Department of Justice Grant

WTLS through the Civil Legal Assistance grant for victims of domestic violence strives to  provide a  coordinated and comprehensive civil legal supportive system for victims so they can achieve protection, long term stabilization of their living situations and empowerment. 

SERVICES OFFERED:  Comprehensive legal needs assessment, safety planning, client education, direct representation by project staff, referrals to other WTLS projects, referrals to pro bono attorneys, referrals to private bar and other community resources.  

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Targeted outreach to the Hispanic community by WTLS’s bilingual paralegal is a priority of the project. This project’s services are available for documented and undocumented immigrants.
