The State is Offering Food and Cash Assistance to Eligible Low Income Flood Victims

A Short-term emergency cash assistance program for low-income individuals and families who have registered with FEMA.  Cash payments of $250 are available to those who qualify.

Do you receive SNAP benefits and did you suffer a power outage of twelve hours or more during the recent storms?  If so, you may qualify for food replacement benefits.  You must notify DHS of your loss before May 21, 2010.
